Seniors Care

WE HELP OLDER ADULTS
STAY HEALTHY,
ACTIVE
AND INDEPENDENT.

Ageing should not mean losing confidence, strength or independence. At MoveImprove, we believe healthy ageing is possible with the right support. We provide personalised physiotherapy, exercise physiology and allied health services designed specifically as physiotherapy for seniors and older adults who want to stay active, reduce their risk of falls and continue living safely at home.

We work not only with seniors, but also with families who are concerned about their parents’ walking, balance, recent falls, hospital admissions or declining confidence. Our mobile service allows us to deliver professional aged care and seniors physiotherapy across the North Shore and Northern Beaches.

Welcome to Our Seniors Care Services

Many families become concerned when they notice mum or dad beginning to slow down. Older adults often feel this too. The feeling of being unsteady, avoiding outdoor walking or losing confidence after a fall can be unsettling. A hospital stay, illness or surgery can also lead to rapid loss of strength and independence. These changes are common, but they are not something older adults simply have to accept.

Our Seniors Care services are designed to provide structured, practical and compassionate support. We focus on improving your health, rebuilding strength, improving balance and restoring confidence in everyday activities. This includes activities such as walking to the letterbox, getting in and out of a chair, climbing stairs or moving safely around the home.

Whether the goal is preventing another fall, improving mobility, managing chronic health conditions or maintaining the ability to live safely at home, we work at a pace that suits each person. Our aim is to support older adults to remain active, capable and confident in their years ahead.

How Seniors Care Works

  • Step 1: Comprehensive Assessment

We listen to you, assess, and provide detailed assessments for physiotherapy for seniors on the North Shore. We consider factors such as your overall health, medical history, medications, physical ability and what you would like to improve. This helps us to design a program that is safe, realistic and tailored to your needs.
  • Step 2: Personalised Care Plan

Based on your assessment, we may recommend our senior's physiotherapy programs such as Falls Prevention, Bone Health, Strength and Mobility, Joint Care or Dementia Care Exercise Support. If these programs are not suitable, we identify where we can help you by building strength, improving balance and enhancing your confidence.
  • Step 3: Home-Based Exercise Support

Our aged care physiotherapy North Shore programs are designed specifically for your home environment. We don’t rely on expensive or unnecessary equipment. We use bodyweight exercises and simple resistance where appropriate. As you improve, your program progresses at a pace that is comfortable for your body.
  • Step 4: Ongoing Monitoring & Support

We regularly review your progress to ensure you continue to improve efficiently. Our programs are purposeful, and we aim for you to benefit from them as much as possible. We support you throughout the programs and have structured check-in support and assessments for when you are managing independently at home.
  • Step 5: Collaborative Care

Seniors managing multiple health conditions often benefit greatly from coordinated care. That is why we communicate with your care team, including your GP, specialists, Home Care Package provider or support coordinator, to optimise your care.
